What is ‘Resort Diving’? Resort Diving is for those who do not hold a scuba diving license. Even without a license, you can participate in scuba diving activities during your holiday.
All resort diving is conducted in small groups. Most importantly, always under the supervision of a Scuba Instructor. Scuba diving is a fun and safe sport. It is accessible to people of all ages and abilities. The minimum age for trying a resort dive is 12 years. You may wish to attain a scuba diving license during your stay. What’s included? If you book a Resort Dive Trip your holiday it will include many fun, daytime scuba dives. If you wish to try only one or two dives, then you can book a Snorkel Trip and add on individual scuba dives.
Food, accommodation, scuba equipment, and scuba dive guides are included in your trip. You will be well looked after onboard M.V. Reef Encounter. Cairns’ premier choice dive boat! Optional extras are wetsuits and night time Resort Diving. You can purchase any extras onboard.
Cairns premier liveaboard, Reef Encounter is equipped with a large, purpose-built, dive platform. Therefore, this will give you easy access into and out of the water. There are two onboard compressors to provide quick air refills.
*Some medical conditions or medications may prevent you from scuba diving. For example heart disease, asthma, epilepsy or diabetes.
